Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the king's horses and all the king's men
Couldn't put Humpty together again.
Sooner or later this subject was bound to come up. On June 25, 2009 Michael Joseph Jackson passed away, for us devoted fans he was murdered. Why post this now you ask, well it just so happened I walked into Borders and saw a book about MJ called The Michael Jackson Tapes written by an old friend of Michael's Rabbi Shmuley Boteach. I read it in the store and it was a difficult and emotional read, you experience what he went through from his childhood and up until the unfortunate event.
Michael was a brilliant entertainer and the most caring man/humanitarian there was. He was loved and adored by millions but still at the end of the day he was lonely and misunderstood. I remember he stated that he didn't have many celebrity friends because they weren't ground and were all about the limelight, clubs, partying and drugs. Therefore he didn't have any one to confide in. Which made matters worse, these vicious pack of hounds called the tabloids spiraled out of controlled, and drove him into a dark deep depression. Eventually he relied on prescription drugs and got out of control.
What's sad is that everyone focused the microscopic personal details of his life rather than, the things he has accomplished. Some might think the author is trying to make money off of MJ, okay who wouldn't. It gives you a raw insight on Michael and their friendship, he clarifies the rumors that have been going on for decades. I guess you can say this is as close as you will get to understanding Michael. He was the most genuine, caring selfless individual that really wanted to make a difference and change the world for the better. He will be forever remembered and was truly the King of Pop. RIP MJJ

I watched This Is It last night! I think that if the concerts had taken place as they were meant to that they would have been the best concerts ever in the history of music. It's just really sad that someone that brought so much joy to so many people is no longer with us. I really enjoyed the clips of the videos that they had planed to use in the concerts. I especially enjoyed the Earth Song video with the little girl, it brought a tear to my eye. RIP Michael Jackson, The King of Pop!
